Overview:

The Edward O. Wilson Conservation Award seeks to encourage graduate students of animal behavior to participate in meaningful conservation-related research. This single award of up to $2,000 USD is given in recognition of a research proposal considered meritorious for its integration of behavior and conservation.

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program.
  • Individuals may receive only one ABS research grant during their lifetime.

  • Research grants may not be used to provide salary supplements, to pay indirect costs (overhead), or to defray tuition fees.
