The Anita Berry Martin Memorial Fund, established at the North Texas Community Foundation in 2013, awarded $105,000 to land and wildlife conservation, equine therapy and equine welfare in Tarrant and Parker counties through grants in 2015.

Due to organizational capacity and prohibitive costs associated with both land conservation and rehabilitating and/or housing horses effectiveness is a major obstacle. These grants are designed to help these organizations build capacity, strengthen infrastructure and build donor awareness in order to secure financial stability.

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website.
