Overview:

Bank of Marin Charitable Contributions

Bank of Marin places great value on giving back to the community, realizing our success over the years is largely due to supporting the communities we serve. Since the Bank’s inception in 1990 we have contributed over $5.6 million to many deserving non-profit organizations throughout the Bay Area.

In 2018, Bank of Marin gave more than 1% of pre-tax profit to non-profit organizations spread across all five counties the Bank serves, including Marin, Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco and Alameda. We are proud to have contributed to over 285 local non-profit organizations, while employees and the Board of Directors volunteered over 7,000 hours and were represented on more than 60 boards throughout the Bay Area.

We are also pleased to have been named a “Top Corporate Philanthropist in the Bay Area” by the San Francisco Business Times each year since 2003, and the North Bay Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy award.

When making contribution decisions, we give priority to programs located in the communities we serve which support:

  • Affordable Housing & Human Services
  • Arts & Culture
  • Civic & Economic Development
  • Senior Citizens & Health Needs
  • Youth & Education
