About this funder:

Caleres Cares Charitable Trust Grants

In 1921, our founder, George Warren Brown, enshrined giving into the company’s very bones by establishing a trust to provide funds to worthy charitable organizations. To date, Caleres has donated more than $20 million to 501(c)(3) organizations in St. Louis and many communities around the world where the company operates.

The Caleres Cares Charitable Trust focuses its grant making on organizations and programs providing services within five funding priorities:

  • Family
  • Healthy Living / Wellness
  • Arts and Culture
  • Local Community
  • Footwear Industry

Our Mission is:

To support charitable organizations, which are either…

  • Strategically aligned with our mission, vision and values
  • Focused on advancing the footwear industry
  • Benefit the overall St. Louis community in growing and attracting new businesses and residents

And have a targeted focus on our corporate mission to live better feet first!

  • Helping develop stronger families by providing opportunities for enrichment
  • Encouraging individuals to live better lives through health and wellness efforts
  • Providing occasions for families and individuals to step feet first into the arts and cultural opportunities in the community
  • While always being a good corporate citizen

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website.

  • We encourage 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organizations to apply.

  • The Trust generally does not support galas, walks, golf outings, trivia nights, etc.
  • Note that grants are not made to individuals.
