Overview:

Colburn-Keenan Foundation

Colburn-Keenan Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the health and well being of individuals and families living with chronic illnesses, with priority placed on those living with bleeding disorders. Our mission is to create a perpetual source of grant funding that will support charitable organizations whose programs and activities benefit the chronic illness and bleeding disorders communities; funding that will assist families with bleeding disorders and other chronic illnesses to meet their socio-economic and insurance related needs; funding that will support research to find a cure for hemophilia; and funding that will support students with bleeding disorders through a designated scholarship program for higher education.

Camp Equipment & Capital Improvement Grant Program

The Camp Equipment and Capital Improvement Grant Program honors the spirit and vision of Colburn-Keenan Foundation’s founders. Donald Colburn and Kathy Ann Keenan were true believers in the benefits of the camp experience for children. The Foundation has developed this program to help camps serving children with chronic illnesses.

Funding is available to help enrich or update your camp through the purchase of new equipment or by investing in facility improvement. An organization can apply to this program for up to $2,000 per calendar year.

Think wish list – do you need something for your medical station, new sporting equipment, or maybe supply costs to build a new fire pit or storage shed? The Foundation is open to your needs and ideas and is looking for you to tell us how this addition or improvement to your camp will make a difference.
