Overview:

The Laura Lee Sipes Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by her mother, Barbara, to honor her daughter’s passion for life. Laura received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Louisville and was taking additional courses to become a paralegal. Unfortunately, Laura’s life was cut short by several brain tumors.

This scholarship will provide grants to residents of Jefferson County, Kentucky who have overcome an obstacle in life.

Eligibility:

  • Resident of Jefferson County, Kentucky
  • Cumulative 2.7 GPA
  • Enrolled to attend an accredited college, university, junior college, technical or vocational school
  • Demonstrate financial need

  • Preference given to females.
