About this funder:
Now more than ever it critical to support those in need. United Way of Franklin County is committed to serve the community through this uncertain time we face. In conjunction with our Emergent Needs fund created for those struggling to afford the basics; join us now and give to our COVID-19 Fund to help further alleviate the strain this is putting on families and agencies that serve those families and supporting human service needs during economic distress associated with COVID-19.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19, organizations in Franklin County who serve populations in need every day will find themselves under-resourced to serve a growing demand for those services. United Way and a coalition of partners are working with direct service organizations to identify critical needs and resource gaps and the best approach to disseminate emergency funds with the appropriate sense of urgency. As with the Emergent Needs Fund, safeguards will be put in place to ensure these funds are used effectively and appropriately. Organizations receiving grants will be required to report back to funders on use of the monies granted
