Overview:

The Edmond Amateis Foundation was created on November 18, 1980. The Foundation is to exist perpetually and the Trustee is instructed to use the income of the foundation estate for educational purposes, awards of scholarships or for other public benevolent purpose of a scientific and literary nature, giving primary consideration to the needs and programs of the Cooper Memorial Library for purposes consistent with the customary and usual mission of a public library.

Eligibility:

  • Qualified organizations are those which are organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary and educational purposes and exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Sections 501(c)(3).

  • Foundation gifts may be made only for use within the United States and are generally restricted to the State of Florida.
