Our Purpose

The Bill Healy Foundation is committed to responsible grant making through thoughtful choices. We recognize the fragile interdependence between the environment and human beings.

We focus on Environmental Conservation and/or The Well Being of Children. The foundation has chosen two points of focus:

  • Environmental Conservation
    • We support stewardship, education and sustainable solutions focused on preservation, appreciation and respect for the world around us.
  • Well Being of Children
    • The children are our future. We have an opportunity and a responsibility to offer support, understanding, and guidance that gives them educated, informed and compassionate choices for a better quality and appreciation of life.

Grant Options

  • Small Grants
    • A larger number of Small Grants are selected for funding than Large Grants.
    • Often, first time requests will be in this category.
    • After organizations have received a Small Grant, the Board has the opportunity of "previous experience" when considering future or larger grants.
  • Large Grants
    • Fewer Large Grants are selected for funding than Small Grants.
    • Generally, the board looks for projects that have a well grounded history, financial stability, good leadership, and a reasonable plan of execution for achieving goals.

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website.

  • If you meet the foundation criteria of Environmental Conservation and/or The Well Being of Children, you have 501 (c) (3) IRS status, and are in the state of Oregon, we invite you to submit.
