The George & Georgella Geile Scholarship Fund was established by Kathleen Geile to honor the memory of her parents. George Geile, a navy veteran and survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor, was an electrician by trade. Georgella Geile was a homemaker with an appreciation for the arts. Both George and Georgella Geile placed great emphasis on an education and its role in a person’s development.
The George and Georgella Scholarship Fund provides scholarship assistance in the form of grants to help defray post-secondary educational expenses of students from outside North America who attend Spalding University.
