Conservation Excellence grants foster exploration of pressing needs in today’s conservation community, including engaging local communities to support land conservation, the stewardship of orphaned conservation easements, collaboration among land trusts, and more.

Projects will fall into one or more of four main categories – Policy, Standards and Education, Community Engagement, and Stewardship and Long-term Sustainability – and will produce results that are replicable by or applicable to other conservation organizations in the state.  Each grant request is limited to up to $100,000.
