Grants for Greater Manhattan Grant Program

The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) invites nonprofit, charitable organizations in the greater Manhattan area to apply for grants for charitable purposes. Project funding up to $10,000 will be considered. Program expenses will take priority, but the GMCF Grants Committee will consider funding operating expenses based on monies available.

The Foundations' Grants Committee will consider requests for funding for charitable projects that address needs in the following areas: 

  • Arts and Humanities
  • Education, Children and Youth
  • Basic Human Needs and Disaster Relief
  • The Elderly
  • Community Development and Leadership
  • Health Care and Mental Health
  • Preservation, Conservation and Beautification
