- Eligible applicants are third-, fourth-, or fifth-year undergraduate or graduate students of landscape architecture at Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB) accredited programs, whose permanent residence is Hawaii.
- To be eligible, the applicant’s university must be within the Hawaii Chapter ASLA boundary or the applicant's permanent residence must be in Hawaii.
- At this time, the only accredited/candidacy program in Hawaii is the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Master of Landscape Architecture program.
