About the COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Funds

Partners from philanthropy, government and business have come together to create two COVID-19 Response and Recovery Funds that will make grants to community-based organizations in Eastern Washington and North Idaho working on the frontlines to serve our region’s most vulnerable populations during this outbreak. The funds are designed to complement the work of public health officials, medical providers, businesses and governments to expand regional capacity addressing the outbreak as effectively as possible.

Funding will be prioritized for organizations addressing the health and economic needs of those most likely to be disproportionately impacted by COVID-19, as well as for recovery efforts to ensure community resilience.

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website.

Eligibility:

  • In general, grants will be directed to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, groups fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, or other charitable organizations able to receive a tax-deductible contribution, such as schools, faith-based organizations, federally recognized tribes, and other public entities.
  • Grants may be awarded to non-501(c)(3) organizations that provide evidence of meeting critical response or recovery needs not otherwise being addressed.

Ineligibility:

  • This funding is not intended to replace annual income lost as a result of cancelled fundraising activities or decreased donations.
