Overview:

The Conservation Committee of IPS  to support the development of primate conservation field programs. The committee is expecting to distribute up to $10,000 this year.

The funds can be used for research supplies, field equipment, field assistant salaries, travel expenses, research fees, etc.  The conservation funds are ONLY for conservation projects. If your project is not related to conservation, you should consider applying for the IPS research grant instead.

The International Primatological Society was created to encourage all areas of non-human primatological scientific research, to facilitate cooperation among scientists of all nationalities engaged in primate research, and to promote the conservation of all primate species. The Society is organized exclusively for scientific, educational and charitable purposes.
