COVID-19/Maimonides Response Fund
The Jewish Federation and the Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven have launched the COVID-19/Maimonides Response Fund to support immediate needs of those most vulnerable.
Emergency grants to our Jewish agencies and synagogues to allow them to meet increased and immediate community needs, such as food insecurity, unemployment, and mental health support.
Goals
- Provide emergency grants to Greater New Haven area Jewish agencies and synagogues for needs related to the current Covid-19 crisis.
- Assist our agencies and synagogues to address critical human needs such as, but not limited to, unemployment, housing, mental health and social services, medical bills, and food insecurity;
- Encourage collaboration between Jewish organizations to maximize the use of resources; and
- Outreach to Jewish households in Greater New Haven.
