The Jurassic Foundation grants fund research on any aspect of dinosaur paleontology (e.g., field exploration, fossil preparation or conservation, morphology, taxonomy, systematics, evolution, paleobiology, paleoecology, paleobiogeography, taphonomy). To be considered for funding, applications must clearly demonstrate that the proposed project will have a direct impact on understanding of non-avian dinosaurs and/or Mesozoic birds.
You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website.
- Students, postdoctoral researchers, and other scientists with limited funding opportunities may apply.
- Researchers from economically developing nations are especially encouraged to apply.
- Proposals that focus on non-dinosaurian species will not be considered for funding.
- If a person has received a Jurassic Foundation grant in the past, they are no longer eligible to receive additional grants.
