Mission

Katrine Deakins was executive secretary to Amon G. Carter and helped found the Amon G. Carter Foundation. She was the foundation's executive director and throughout her life was very active in numerous professional, social and charitable organizations.

Katrine then established her own trust in 1987, the Katrine Menzing Deakins Charitable Trust to benefit several favored charities in addition to other charitable organization requests selected each year by the trustees.
