Overview:

The Kentucky Academy of Science is an engaging group of scientists and citizens who are the voice of science in Kentucky. The mission of the Kentucky Academy of Science is to foster scientific discovery and understanding in Kentucky.

The Kentucky Academy of Science makes available funds for research planned and conducted by undergraduate students of Kentucky colleges and universities under the supervision of a faculty member. Undergraduate Research Supply Grants are intended to provide modest support for supplies and expendables necessary for student research not normally available from the host institution.

Eligibility:

  • This fund is for the research, planned and conducted by undergraduate students of Kentucky colleges and universities.
  • The research should be under the supervision of a faculty member.

You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. Faculty sponsors/ researchers must be members of the Kentucky Academy of Science.

Ineligibility:

  • This fund does not provide support for indirect costs, salaries, or conference travel.
