Overview:

The Louis and Dorothy Coover Regional Grantmaking Program, a partnership between Community Foundation of the Ozarks and The Commerce Trust Company, will award grants to agencies serving the Missouri Ozarks to support new or innovative programs in all subject areas supported by the Foundation.  This program encourages proposals referencing any of the following categories:

  • Arts and culture
  • Community Development
  • Conservation
  • Early Childhood Education-Pre-K
  • Education-K-12
  • Environmental Impact
  • Health
  • Housing
  • Social Services

Eligibility:

  • The Louis and Dorothy Coover Regional Grantmaking Program will award grants to agencies serving the Missouri Ozarks.
  • Organizations with regional service areas primarily outside of metropolitan Springfield and Greene County. 
  • All grants must be awarded to 501(c)3 or equivalent education/government/faith nonprofit entities or fiscal agents.
  • Grants are only awarded to agencies located within the 58 counties of Missouri located south of the Missouri River.

Ineligibility:

  • Applications which include services to individuals within Springfield and Greene County will not be considered.
