Competitive Grants

Since 1998, Manatee Community Foundation has awarded more than $25 million in scholarships and grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. The generosity of donors who give through MCF makes impactful work possible in the arts, human services, education, animal welfare, environmental, civic engagement, and health related causes.

Manatee Community Foundation focuses on “results first” framework which helps us make better decisions based on how organizations have moved the needle for their clients.

Application Types

Program - This application is for a program investment that directly serves your clients.

Capacity Building - This application is for a capacity building investment that will help your organization become more effective or efficient—marketing, training, information technology, database, etc.

Eligibility:

    • Your organization is based in Manatee County OR has programs / location(s) serving Manatee County residents.
    • Agency is 501(c)(3), public school or government.
    • Your organization has an UPDATED profile in The Giving Partner if it is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
