Overview:

The MBA awards research and conference grants each year to a broad range of marine biologists in support of the Association’s objectives.

The primary purpose of the Research awards is to enable students, postdoctoral researchers and established scientists to undertake investigations with MBA Research Fellows at the Citadel Hill Laboratory.

Many of the awards commemorate the contributions of leading marine biologists with strong ties to the MBA and are made possible by generous bequests made to the MBA by donors.

The MBA also hosts a number of Advanced Training courses that allow attendees to gain expertise in a range of specialised research techniques.

Student Travel Bursaries

The Association awards a number of bursaries each year to support Student Members and Young Marine Biologists of the Association attending marine biology related conferences, meetings and courses.
