The Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation is a leader in corporate philanthropy and serves as the charitable arm of Eastern Bank. Since it's establishment, Eastern Bank and the Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation have contributed to the health and vitality of the communities we serve. This is evidenced through our extraordinary commitment to provide financial support to organizations throughout our footprint. We do this by funding over 1,600 local organizations each year that provide services to the communities we serve.
Grants for Good
Eastern Bank is committed to helping communities prosper. That's why we're proud to give an average of 10% of our net income every year to charity. Since 1999, we have donated more than $120 million to non-profit organizations.
We focus our giving on supporting organizations that provide services to the underserved and neediest members of our community. We work to ensure that all our neighbors have equal access to employment, education, healthcare, housing, childcare, healthy meals and other essential support services.
Our goal is to support impactful organizations across our geographic footprint, contributing to the health and vitality of the communities we serve. We prefer to make smaller grants rather than a few large ones to increase the number of organizations and communities served.
Grant Program: Neighborhood Grants
Neighborhood Grants are available to support organizations that do not have 501(c)(3) designation.
