Vecino - Neighbor Helping Neighbor Fund

Tens of thousands of people in New Mexico have lost their jobs as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, resulting in greater needs than ever before.

The Foundation will make emergency grants from our Vecino, Neighbor Helping Neighbor Fund to nonprofits that support those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. This grant will provide funding for food, water, and other emergency needs to some of the hardest hit areas.

  • Applicants must be 501c3 nonprofits in good standing with the IRS (or have a fiscal sponsor that is a 501c3) or be a federally recognized tribe in New Mexico.
  • Only one request per organization will be accepted. 
  • Grant Range will vary depending on funding available. 


  • Grants cannot be made to individuals.
