Overview:

Norco Community Fund

The purpose of the Norco Community Fund, a Donor Advised Fund of The Greater New Orleans Foundation, is to improve the quality of life of people in Norco. An advisory committee of business and civic leaders meet annually to review grant requests in the following program areas: arts and humanities, community development, education, environment, human services, health care, community building, and youth development.

The following types of funding will be considered:

  • Grants that support new, creative or beneficial programs.
  • Capital fund grants for new construction or major renovations.
  • Seed money grants to help start a new organization in response to an important opportunity in the community.
  • Bridge grants to sustain organizations experiencing unusual financial hardship.
  • Grants to organizations with a positive track record.
