Overview:

Plattsmouth Community Foundation Fund

The Plattsmouth Community Foundation Fund was formed during the Summer of 2000 by a group of area citizens interested in community improvement. Our goal is to mobilize charitable giving and to provide a mechanism to support the civic, recreational, cultural, educational and other appropriate needs of the community.

PCFF makes grants annually to further projects and causes that advance our goal: to develop Plattsmouth as a vibrant community that honors the past, celebrates the present, and looks to the future.

Vision Statement

Plattsmouth is a vibrant community that honors the past, celebrates the present, and looks to the future. The community is actively engaged in economic development and in developing youth and leaders who remain in the community and ‘give back’. All individuals have an opportunity to be leaders and to achieve personal and community goals.

Description

Each year, portions of our permanent unrestricted endowment funds are distributed to various groups and organizations in the community for specific projects. Decisions on fund disbursements are the sole decision of the Fund Advisory Committee, whose participants are elected by members of the Plattsmouth Community Foundation Fund. All decisions are final.

Goal

The goal of the PCFF is to develop Plattsmouth as a vibrant community that honors the past, celebrates the present, and looks to the future.
