About this funder:

Alaska Conservation Foundation’s (ACF) Rapid Response grants provide support for direct conservation action to address unforeseen opportunities or threats of statewide or national significance, leading to more robust environmental policy and enduring conservation impact.

The Rapid Response Program accepts Letters of Inquiry on an ongoing basis through ACF’s online application system.
Rapid Response grants support activities that result in:

  • Reduction in destructive environmental activities
  • More favorable laws and policies for the environment
  • Stronger regulation of these policies and enforcement of these laws
  • Stronger environmental protections in place; and/or
  • More sustainable economic development or activities

Alaska Conservation Foundation envisions an inspiring Alaska that is naturally thriving, biologically and culturally diverse, rich in wildlands, bountiful in terrestrial and marine life, sustainable in its economic development and thoughtfully protected—forever.

Alaska Conservation Foundation protects Alaska’s natural environment and the diverse cultures and ways of life it sustains. We do this by promoting conservation philanthropy and by strategically directing resources to conservation leaders, organizations, and initiatives.
