Overview:

Royal Society of Chemistry - Atomic Spectroscopy Group

The Atomic Spectroscopy Group is one of the RSC's many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit RSC members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the RSC's strategy and charter.

The group's aim is to extend the knowledge, understanding and application of all aspects of atomic spectroscopy within analytical chemistry; and to encourage and assist all scientists, irrespective of experience, actively engaged in this analytical field.

Travel Bursary

Newer members of ASG, e.g. postgraduate students, postdoctoral research fellows and scientists who have been in industry for less than five years, may apply for travel bursaries totaling up to £500, so that they may present their work at national and international conferences.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a newer member of the Atomic Spectroscopy Group: 
    • Postgraduate students, postdoctoral research fellows and scientists who have been in academia and industry for less than five years.

You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. Must be a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a newer member of the Atomic Spectroscopy Group.
