About this funder:

Apply for up to £2000 to support your scientific meeting, including (but not limited to) scientifically enhancing your own existing meetings (international speaker expenses, for example) or fully supporting a "no frills" research meeting or workshop.

The Scientific Meetings Grant is a flexible fund that is awarded by our Divisions to help their communities (both academic and industrial) to advance research, develop networks, foster the next generation of researchers and champion the importance of chemistry. We are also keen to support initiatives that enable research collaboration between members based in different sectors such as academia, government and industry.

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website.

  • Each member can receive one grant per calendar year.
  • Support should be "enabling" (i.e. the meeting could not go ahead with out it) or should scientifically enhance the activity.
  • The meeting should fit with the Division's priorities and strategy.  Details are available on the Division webpages.
  • Applications should be for meetings related to scientific research and should not be predominantly commercial in nature.

You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. Applicants must be a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Division that represents their application’s subject area.
