Overview:

Sacramento Audubon Society would like to fund community based conservation projects that promote the mission of the Society. We believe that when organizations work together, we can exponentially magnify our impact. The projects should conserve (or restore) habitats, or help protect species.

Our mission is to:

  • promote the protection and scientific study of wild birds;
  • promote the enjoyment and appreciation of wild birds through community outreach; 
  • provide, encourage and support environmental educational opportunities; and 
  • provide proactive leadership in the conservation of open space in the Sacramento region.
