Allow two Board meeting dates for review by the Board. Board does not meet, month’s of June, July, and December.

The available grants are for up to $2000 for the year. As with all grant programs and donations requests, there is limited funding available and not all proposals can be approved. 

Sacramento Audubon Society would like to fund community based conservation projects that promote the mission of the Society. We believe that when organizations work together, we can exponentially magnify our impact. The projects should conserve (or restore) habitats, or help protect species. The geographical area should be within 50 miles of Sacramento.

Sacramento Audubon Society’s mission is to:

  • promote the protection and scientific study of wild birds;
  • promote the enjoyment and appreciation of wild birds through community outreach;
  • provide, encourage and support environmental education opportunities; and
  • provide proactive leadership in the conservation of open space in the Sacramento region.
