Overview:

The Scottish Rock Garden Club ( SRGC) was founded in Edinburgh in 1933 by a small group of enthusiasts who were interested in promoting the cultivation of alpine and rock garden plants. Originally formed to host meetings and shows, through the years the SRGC added a journal and conferences along with the international seed exchange.

SRGC Exploration Awards

SRGC Exploration Awards were set up in 1985 to make awards to help finance projects or trips pertaining to rock garden plants. Feedback in the form of articles, talks, photographs etc., is appreciated.

Exploration awards have been made since 1985 with the objective of helping to finance the  investigation of rock garden plants in their natural habitat, augmenting our knowledge of these  plants and their potential for cultivation.

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website.

Eligibility:

  • Recipients of grants need not necessarily be members of the SRGC.
