Teck Community Response Fund

Teck has created a community investment fund for local organizations in areas where Teck operates which are directly involved with COVID-19 response or those directly experiencing impacts from COVID-19.

The Teck Community Response Fund is a community investment fund to support critical social and health initiatives in the areas where Teck operates, including dedicated support for Indigenous communities.

Eligible organizations directly engaged in local COVID-19 response (including those supporting vulnerable community members) or those experiencing significant organizational continuity impacts resulting from COVID-19 may apply to the Teck Community Response Fund for support. The Fund is not available to individuals seeking direct relief for COVID-19 impacts.

Organizations who are registered charities and/or deliver community benefit are eligible to apply for community investment from Teck. To be considered for funding from the Teck Community Response Fund, organizations must demonstrate an intention to use funding in at least one of the following priority areas:

  • Community-level COVID-19 and emergency response preparedness and/or health interventions and support for frontline workers.
  • Immediate needs of vulnerable community members, including access to access to food, hygiene, housing and other basic needs.
  • Access to information, tools and support services to safeguard personal health, safety and resiliency.
  • Organizational continuity of charitable and non-profit organizations, especially those delivering essential services
