Overview:

The Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society provides Graduate Scholarships, an Educational assistance available to college students pursuing degree programs which will prepare them for careers in natural resource conservation.

There are three Graduate Scholarships offered by the Thexas Chapter of the Wildlife Society:

  1. National Wild Turkey Federation Scholarship ($1500)
  2. Sam Beasom Memorial Scholarship ($1000)
  3. Dan Boone Memorial Scholarship ($500)

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must meet the following requirements:
    • Maintain current enrollment in a Texas accredited natural resource graduate degree program
    • Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
    • Maintain enrollment at time of award presentation
    • One-time award eligibility for duration of research project
