Overview:

Undergraduate Scholarships is an educational assistance available to college students pursuing degree programs which will prepare them for careers in natural resource conservation.

There are three undergraduate scholarships available:

  1. Colin Caruthers Memorial Scholarship ($2000)
  2. Carl D. Shoemaker Memorial Scholarship ($1500)
  3. Charly McTee Memorial Scholarship ($750)

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must meet the following requirements:
    • Maintain current enrollment in a Texas accredited natural resource degree program
    • Maintain a minimum of 12 hours per semester
    • Document successful completion of a minimum of 60 semester credit hours
    • Maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
    • Maintain enrollment at time of award presentation
    • Was not awarded a Texas Chapter of TWS scholarship in the previous year of application being made
