Overview:

In 1966, the North-Central Section was established by the Council of the Geological Society of America to expand section coverage for all of the United States and Canada. Since 1993 the North-Central Section has provided grant awards for undergraduate research projects.

  • Applicants must be undergraduate member of the Geological Society.
  • Applicants must be attending a school in the North-Central Section.
  • A faculty member may endorse one student per year.
