Bonnie & Printis Shelton Scholarship

The Southern Arizona Nursing Scholarship aims to alleviate financial burdens for students pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree. This scholarship covers in-state tuition and fees for eligible students at non-profit Southern Arizona community colleges, facilitating their preparation for the NCLEX-RN exam and RN certification. It particularly supports first-generation college students, ensuring they have access to the necessary education and resources to succeed in the nursing field.

John Ruff Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the fund is to provide one or more annual scholarships to students (children or grandchildren) whose families are currently policyholders with the Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. of St. Joseph and Marshall Counties. 

The scholarships will be used to fulfill educational needs to post secondary education to include four year institutions, two year institutions, and vocational trade and technical career areas.

The John Ruff Scholarship Fund is not renewable annually to previous recipients.

Marohn Family Fund

The purpose of the fund is to provide annual scholarships to students from schools (Plymouth High School, Triton High School, Culver High School, Bremen High School and Argos High School) within Marshall County Indiana.  

The scholarships will be used to help fulfill educational needs in the vocational trade, and technical career areas.

The Affiliate Grants - Chapter Activities Fund, offered by the American Musicological Society, provides financial support for chapter activities and programs. Each chapter can request up to $500, covering no more than 50% of total costs. Applications are accepted semi-annually, with deadlines of August 1 for summer and January 15 for winter. Notably, chapters can only receive funding once per twelve-month period, ensuring fair distribution of resources.

The K–12 Educators Grants in American Music, offered by the American Musicological Society, provides $500 awards to K-12 educators with an interest in American music to attend the Teaching Music History Conference. The DoW Alzheimer’s Transforming Care Award aims to support innovative clinical research and trials enhancing dementia care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. The FY26 Alzheimer’s Research Program's Transforming Diagnosis Award (TrDA) promotes innovative research aimed at overcoming significant barriers to accurate diagnosis and monitoring of Alzheimer's disease. Established by his father, Tom Heaton, this annual scholarship supports the children of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI) employees. Eligible applicants must be graduating seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.0, planning to attend college or technical school, reflecting Manny's dedication and resilience.

The Family Fun & Connections Event Grant Program, initiated by the Colburn-Keenan Foundation, aims to support community engagement through events for families affected by bleeding disorders. This program, established after a successful 10th Anniversary Celebration, offers $1,000 grants for various fun activities such as dance parties, BBQs, and outdoor adventures. The AMS Explore Travel Grant supports current or recent undergraduate students to present 10-minute papers at the 2025 AMS-SMT Joint Annual Meeting in Minneapolis. Accepted applicants will benefit from complimentary registration, a $350 travel grant, and shared lodging in the conference hotel, enhancing their academic experience and involvement in the AMS community.
