The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts administers over 160 scholarships. Some of the funds help students from a particular school or area; others provide financial assistance to those pursuing a specific field of study; still others assist students that are most in need. Students who apply to the Scholarship program may be eligible for many of these funds.
Arrighi Memorial Scholarship Fund
Supporting residents of Greenfield.
AΩA is committed to preparing future leaders in medicine and health care. Leadership is about making a positive difference and can be developed through education, observation, experience, and by working with leader mentors. Service learning provides excellent opportunities for students to develop as servant leaders. Only one team from each school may be nominated.
Cumberland Community Foundation ("CCF") manages more than 60 scholarship endowment funds created by local individuals, families, civic organizations, and corporations who want to provide a path to higher education for future generations.
Each year, Cumberland Community Foundation announces more than $1,000,000 in college scholarships to students from southeastern North Carolina.
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity: The George L. Butler Memorial Scholarship
Graduating senior from any high school in Cumberland County or Fort Bragg area.
In just one application, our Common Scholarship Application provides students access to more than 150 scholarship opportunities with awards ranging from $1,000 to more than $5,000.
In 2025, San Diego Foundation awarded a record-breaking $5.5 million in scholarships to nearly 1,400 students.
William and Lucille Ash Scholarship
Be adult re-entry students (age 25 or older) or former foster youth who plan to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year university, community college or licensed career/technical school in the United States in fall (preference may be given to students attending a school in California).

African American Achievement Fund
Supporting African American residents of Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire Counties who attend four-year colleges.
Taka Domingo HLP Vocational Scholarship
The HLP Hamakua Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that was formed to benefit the people of Hamakua. Taka Domingo was one of the original board members when HLP was established after the closure of sugar. He was an electrician and County Councilman representing the Hamakua District. The Taka Domingo HLP Vocational Scholarship was established after his death in August 2016.
Individual award amount: $2,000.
Possible trades include: welding, tourism, fire science, electrical, early childhood education, agriculture, auto body, auto mechanics, diesel mechanics, carpentry, culinary and others not listed.
The Columbus Foundation
In 1943, during the darkness of World War II, a group of passionate citizens, led by Columbus businessman Harrison M. Sayre, envisioned a way to improve the well-being of the community and the quality of life in central Ohio. With little more than this sound idea and faith, The Columbus Foundation was established.

Bopp-Busch Manufacturing Scholarship
Bopp Busch Manufacturing Company established this scholarship to honor its founding families, August and Eva Bopp and Chester and Betty Busch. The scholarship was created to give back to the residents of the area that made the business possible, and to encourage post-secondary education in general and more specifically in the skilled trades.
