The GoodRx Helps Community Catalyst Grants support community-led nonprofits dedicated to enhancing health and well-being for under-resourced groups. This funding aims to improve healthcare access, education, and essential services, addressing systemic barriers faced by these communities. Eligible organizations must demonstrate a commitment to community empowerment and possess a minimum annual operating budget of $250K. This initiative underscores the importance of fostering sustainable health improvements through targeted, inclusive support.

Buhl Regional Health Foundation: Mini-Grants

Buhl Regional Health Foundation will award mini-grants in 2026 for implementation of initiatives that strive to increase children’s access to optimal health and well-being and/or improve their access to quality, holistic healthcare. BRHF gives preference to youth-based funding requests.

BRHF’s Mini-Grants Application has been developed to support smaller grant requests of up to $5,000 that meet the guidelines of BRHF grant policy.

Funds are available until exhausted for current budget year.

Basic Health & Safety Needs Grants

The Buhl Regional Health Foundation (BRHF) invites proposals from nonprofit organizations serving Mercer County to support initiatives that strengthen the Basic Health and Safety Needs of children, youth, and their families. As one of the seven Vital Conditions for a Thriving Community, Basic Health & Safety Needs serve as a foundational requirement for children to grow, learn, and reach their full potential. In Mercer County, many young people face barriers to reliable access to essential supports such as nutrition, physical safety, hygiene, and environmental wellbeing. This RFP seeks projects that address gaps in these fundamental needs and /conditions that directly influence a child’s physical, mental, and emotional health. BRHF aims to support programs that provide preventive services, reduce harm, promote safe environments, and ensure that youth have the essential resources needed to thrive.

Nutrition & Physical Wellbeing

• Programs that increase access to healthy food for children and youth
• Efforts to reduce food insecurity at home, school, or community sites

The NAFC Response & Emergency Needs Fund is designed to address urgent and unforeseen challenges that threaten operations or patient access to care within NAFC member organizations. These organizations often operate with limited reserves, making them especially vulnerable to unexpected repairs, equipment failures, workforce disruptions, or community emergencies. This fund provides rapid, flexible support to help stabilize operations and ensure continuity of care for uninsured and underserved patients.

NAFC Healthcare Services Expansion Fund

The NAFC Healthcare Services Expansion Fund supports the launch or expansion of clinical programs and new service areas that increase access to care for underserved patients. This funding is designed to help NAFC members introduce new services or grow existing programs that address unmet community health needs and improve access to comprehensive, patient-centered care.

The Clinton County Community Foundation, established through the generosity of Jean Sharp Rempe, has grown to over $11 million in assets. This foundation supports local initiatives, benefiting youth, libraries, the elderly, and various community groups. Charities seeking funding must serve Clinton County residents and be recognized as 501(c)(3) organizations by the IRS. The foundation's contributions have significantly enhanced community welfare and development.

The Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation offers a Capacity Building Award aimed at strengthening nonprofits in its service area. This grant supports enhancing organizational infrastructure, governance, and sustainability through investments in training, technology upgrades, and strategic planning. By fostering robust nonprofit capabilities, the foundation ensures lasting community impact and addresses critical issues like health and education equity. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations and public/private K-12 schools within the designated region.

The Peterson Foundation Grant, established in 1944 by Hal and Charlie Peterson, supports charitable organizations within Kerr, Bandera, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kimble, and Real Counties. The Foundation primarily funds health care and education initiatives, and applications are accepted year-round from §501(c)(3) organizations in the service area. Applications are open year-round, with grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000; larger requests are typically declined. Eligible applicants include schools, state governments, and 501(c)(3) nonprofits. The Foundation emphasizes selectivity and prioritizes organizations with established relationships and those promoting American ideals like freedom and justice.

Sanofi Philanthropic Donations support non-profit organizations aligned with Health Equity, STEM Education Equity, and Local Communities. Applications are accepted year-round, with a review process of 8 to 16 weeks. West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. offers the WPS Community Support Grants & Sponsorships, emphasizing a culture of giving and community involvement. The program supports 501(c)3 organizations that address healthcare challenges and focus on children, disabled individuals, and STEM education. Through financial support and volunteerism, West aims to foster healthier communities where its employees live and work, reinforcing its commitment to philanthropy and social responsibility.

The Semnani Family Foundation, established in 1993, is dedicated to supporting marginalized communities worldwide through health, education, and disaster relief initiatives. Founded by Khosrow and Ghazaleh Semnani, it began by funding an orphanage in Romania. The foundation also operates locally, providing free healthcare through the Maliheh Free Clinic in Utah.
