Aprendamos Juntos Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide scholarships to NM resident, second-semester students working in one of the following; physical therapy, occupational therapy, board certified behavior analyst program

Applicants must have resided in southwest Detroit throughout high school and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA in college. Renewal is contingent upon reapplication and meeting academic criteria, ensuring continued support for eligible students.

The JubiLee Scholarship Fund, established by friends and family of Diane Lee and her daughters, honors their legacy of helping underprivileged children. Stark Community FoundationStark Community Foundation is one of the area’s major sources of college scholarship support— thanks to the generosity of caring individuals, families and businesses that have created scholarship funds. The Foundation currently manages more than 100 scholarship funds that support hundreds of deserving students each year from Stark and Carroll counties. The Monsignor Leo Adamiak Trust Grant provides financial assistance to Ukrainian Catholic parishes in the U.S. and Ukraine, aiming to support their educational and operational needs. Eligible organizations must demonstrate a commitment to community service with a history of at least three years. The trust favors projects with measurable impacts and sustainable outcomes, while not supporting general operating costs or for-profit entities. The Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot Counties, who are planning to attend a college, university, or trade school. There is one scholarship that is available to students in Cecil County. 

Talbot Paramedic Foundation/Sylvia Gannon Scholarship

Awarded to residents of Talbot County, and/or to members of a local Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association, who are planning to pursue careers as Emergency Medical Technicians.

The Marie K. Coleman Scholarship, offered by the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation, aims to support students pursuing educational opportunities. This scholarship awards $2,000 to eligible candidates who demonstrate financial need and hold a minimum GPA of 2.5. Priority is given to first-generation college students, particularly those interested in business or accounting. Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation and participate in school and community activities.

The Mary & Al Tsukamoto Memorial Scholarship aims to foster educational opportunities through grants and scholarships, focusing on community needs. It offers two scholarships of $1,500 each, requiring applicants to submit a 500-word essay on the phrase 'Justice for All' and its impact on their family. Eligibility includes a minimum GPA of 3.0 and full-time student status, with special consideration for immigrant families. Participation in community activities is required, while school activity involvement is not.
