The Center for Scholarship Administration (CSA) provides corporations, foundations, trust funds, and individual philanthropists scholarship selection and administration management that is experienced, professional, and cost efficient while lending the program an integrity not inherent in internal selection committees.

Dudley West Scholarship

The Dudley West Scholarship is providing scholarships for deserving students. The Center for Scholarship Administration, Inc. (CSA), a non-profit, independent organization is the facilitator of the scholarship fund.

The recipients may attend any accredited public or private, two-year or four-year college, university, trade, technical, vocational, undergraduate, or graduate school, located in the United States, in any field of study leading to a degree, diploma or certificate. Recipients must be enrolled full-time each semester and working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree.

This scholarship is for one year only; however, current recipients may reapply and be considered for additional funding along with other new applicants. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled full-time. Scholarship recipients are limited to four total years of scholarship award and are expected to have been enrolled consecutive years during that time. Students must reapply for additional scholarship awards each year. An award is not guaranteed, and students will be included in the pool of new scholarship applicants.

The Dr. Doris R. Corbett-Johnson Leaders for Our Future Award, presented by SHAPE America, honors young professionals under 36 who exhibit exceptional promise in scholarship, teaching, and leadership. This prestigious award is available in two categories: college/university and non-college/university, with a maximum of two recipients per category each year. By recognizing emerging leaders, SHAPE America aims to inspire a new generation dedicated to advancing health and physical education.

The Shakespeare in American Communities: Apprenticeships program by Arts Midwest offers grants of up to $30,000 to support paid apprenticeships for emerging theater professionals across the U.S. This initiative aims to enhance community-based theater activities, providing essential on-the-job training for early-career administrators and technicians, while fostering engagement with Shakespeare's works. The MHM Scholarship Fund, managed by the San Antonio Area Foundation, supports full-time students pursuing a career in healthcare. Eligible applicants include graduating Texas high school seniors who are U.S. citizens, exhibit strong academic performance in science, and demonstrate community involvement. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, covering tuition, fees, and books. Since 1964, the foundation has contributed millions to enhance the quality of life in San Antonio through education and community support.

The CPIC Scholars Program, part of the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network (RDCRN), offers education and career development opportunities for early-stage faculty and fellows. This initiative aims to foster the research careers of the next generation, focusing on congenital cytomegalovirus, neonatal herpes simplex virus, and enterovirus sepsis. Scholars engage in research projects and participate in CPIC Scholar Circles, enhancing their professional skills and knowledge in rare disease research.

For Oliver Wolcott Vocational-Technical High School graduating seniors; preference may be given to students who participate in community service and who have an academic focus in electronics, but students pursuing other fields of study also are eligible to apply.

The Marshall O. Bell Scholarship Fund, managed by the San Antonio Area Foundation, offers financial assistance to current high school seniors in Bexar County. This scholarship supports students pursuing any area of study, requiring full-time enrollment in an accredited institution. Renewable for up to three years, it aims to alleviate the financial barriers to higher education, assisting students in achieving their academic goals and enhancing their community.

This fund was established in honor Dr. Robyn Ann Macsata. This scholarship will be awarded to a female Torrington High School student who intends to pursue the study of medicine.

The Loretta B. Simpson Scholarship Fund, administered by the San Antonio Area Foundation, supports full-time students pursuing various degrees in the USA. This renewable scholarship is aimed at high school seniors from the San Antonio area who are involved in community or extracurricular activities. Eligible candidates must maintain a GPA of 2.5 and remain enrolled in accredited educational institutions. The fund emphasizes the importance of education in enhancing community quality of life.

The Victory Project - Emerging Sports Leaders Scholarship Fund

Five (5) Emerging Sports Leaders Scholarships will provide financial assistance to students whose lives have been impacted by the sport of soccer. This scholarship is available for high school seniors with post-secondary education plans at a university, college, trade, or vocational school. Participation in collegiate soccer is not required. Payment will be made directly to the school.

The Established Investigator Bridge Funding Award, supported by the ACG Institute for Clinical Research and Education and the American College of Gastroenterology, offers $300,000 in funding over two years for established researchers facing funding gaps. The Hearst Journalism Awards Program, established in 1960, supports journalism education by awarding scholarships to exceptional undergraduate students. With up to $700,000 available in various competitions, including writing, photojournalism, and multimedia, it encourages participation from students in ACEJMC-accredited institutions. The program aims to foster talent and innovation in journalism, ensuring a diverse range of voices is represented in the media landscape. The Hearst Foundation continues to invest in the future of journalism through this esteemed initiative.

The ACG/ASGE Epidemiologic Research Award in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy supports research projects that study the use and outcomes of gastrointestinal endoscopy through the GI Quality Improvement Consortium (GIQuIC). Co-sponsored by the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, this award is aimed at enhancing the quality and outcomes of GI endoscopic procedures, benefiting both practitioners and patients.
