• To help companies build a more diverse workforce; 
• To provide diverse students with the preparation they need to succeed in college, familiarize themselves with professional career paths, and prepare to be competitive candidates for internships and future employers after graduation.

UNCF’s SPDP partners include The Walt Disney Company, Toyota, Papa Johns, United Health Foundation, Wells Fargo, and the Walton Family Foundation. We currently serve over 1500 students annually through internship, leadership, and professional development services.

The UNCF Student Professional Development Programs (SPDP) offer career readiness, success coaching, and paid summer and semester internships to college students. Students participating in SPDP will be exposed to career pathways and opportunities and have access to leadership and personal development training. 

SPDP students will:

• Prepare to navigate from college to early-stage careers

• Improve networking and communication skills
• Strengthen interviewing techniques

The Early Career Talent Development General Application is used to establish an applicant pool of potentially eligible students for these ongoing internship/student professional development opportunities that are published/unpublished. Internship or professional development opportunities using the Early Career Talent Development General Application, are restricted to students who are enrolled full time at an accredited institution within the U.S. during the 2025-2026 academic year. 

The MultiState Conservation Grant Program provides vital funding for wildlife and sport fish restoration projects, as well as initiatives aimed at recruitment, retention, and reactivation (R3) of outdoor enthusiasts. These grants address priority needs identified by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, supporting collaborative efforts among states to enhance conservation efforts. The Kent A. & Diana C. Morgan Family Scholarship Fund was established in 2019 as a legacy fund. Juanita Muller Scholarship

Juanita Muller was widowed in 1949. She reared two sons, Joe, then 14 and Charles, 10, working six days a week in a dress factory. Charles, the provider of this scholarship, was the first in his family to receive a college education, thanks to the Woodward Trustees Foundation in Cincinnati. It provided financial aid in high school and a scholarship to the University of Cincinnati. May the recipients of the scholarship fully appreciate the effort of their single parent and have an impact on the lives of those they touch.

The ASTRO-BCRF Emerging Investigator Award aims to support one early career researcher in breast radiation oncology from underrepresented populations. Richard D. Feldman, M.D. Student and Resident Essay Contest

Each year, the Center for the History of Family Medicine (CHFM) sponsors a contest to encourage medical students and family medicine residents to write scholarly essays relevant to the history of family medicine in the United States. The first-place winner will receive $2,000 and the second-place winner will receive a $1,000 award.

The ASTRO-LUNGevity Residents/Fellows in Radiation Oncology Seed Grant aims to advance the research careers of residents and fellows focusing on radiation oncology and its impact on lung cancer treatment. This $50,000 award supports innovative basic, translational, and clinical research projects. A no-cost extension may be granted at ASTRO and LUNGevity's discretion, but the total project duration cannot exceed two years.

Recipients receive a one-year premium digital membership in SDA, which includes various member benefits. The MASOT Student Achievement Award, established by the Society of Toxicology, honors exceptional doctoral student members with a $1,000 prize. The Beth N. Rom-Rymer Travel Scholarship provides $1,000 for Native psychology graduate students to attend the American Psychological Association's annual convention. This opportunity is specifically for members of the Society of Indian Psychologists (SIP).
