Inatai Foundation
Inatai Foundation is a 501(c)(4) serving and accountable to leaders and organizations with bold visions who are building power in racially diverse communities across Washington state. Our vision begins with them: their ideas, solutions, and dreams for transformational change.
As a foundation, we channel the funding, influence, and information we have to the leaders and organizations rooted in and led by the communities we answer to, so they have the resources, power, and opportunity they need to bring their visions to life.
Campaigns, Litigation, Issues & Policy (CLIP) Fund
The Campaigns, Litigation, Issues & Policy (CLIP) Fund supports Washington organizations and coalitions engaging in community-led, issue-based campaigns—both active and forthcoming—that can shape policy for a more just and equitable future.
As a 501(c)(4) organization working to advance equity and racial justice across Washington, we know that this work is inherently political, and we know that there are diverse leaders working to shift the political landscape in every community.
That’s why CLIP funding offers flexible support and partnership that community-led campaigns need to build and exercise their political power.
Campaigns We Fund
Below are examples of campaign activity that CLIP supports:
About WSDA
WSDA has been serving agriculture and the public for more than 100 years. Through service, regulation, and advocacy, we support keeping agriculture viable and vital in Washington State, while protecting consumers, public health, and the environment. The nature of our work falls into three primary roles: Service; Regulation; and Advocacy.
Resiliency Grants
To help address critical needs of hunger relief organizations across Washington, WSDA Food Assistance (FA) Resiliency Grants Program applications are open to eligible hunger relief organizations, including those not currently participating in FA core programs.
The Resiliency Grants Program is funded by the General Fund-State operating budget. This grant is a reimbursement grant.
This program contributes to WSDA’s ongoing Focus on Food Initiative, which aims to ensure access to a safe and nutritious supply of food to support a healthy and thriving Washington population.

About Us
The Washington Military Department’s mission is to provide trained professionals and operational forces who are ready to defend our state and nation, respond to emergencies and disasters and enhance resiliency in communities through structured alternative education opportunities for at-risk youth.
Nonprofit Security Grant Program
NSGP provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist or other extremist attack. The intent is to integrate nonprofit preparedness activities with broader state and local preparedness efforts. It is also designed to promote coordination and collaboration in emergency preparedness activities among public and private community representatives, as well as state and local government agencies.
About this funding
This program will provide approximately $3 million of state transportation funds over the '25-'27 biennium. There is no match requirement. Washington’s Climate Commitment Act (CCA) produces these funds. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs and improving public health. Learn more about the CCA at www.climate.wa.gov.
E-Bike Lending Library and Ownership Grant Program
Learn about a grant process governmental, tribal or nonprofit organizations can participate in to establish or administer an e-bike loan program.
The state legislature funded this grant program to help more people use e-bikes. Organizations receiving this grant can set up or continue administering e-bike libraries which provide a cost-free opportunity for people to try riding and integrating e-bikes into their lifestyles for a fixed period of time.
Grantees should design their lending libraries in collaboration with communities that will use them.
Washington Women’s Foundation - Grassroots
Our focus:
Improving the lives of women & girls most impacted by inequity in Washington
We know that all women/girls are impacted by sexism. From WaWF’s race and gender equity focused learning of the past several years we also know that inequity is not experienced by all women in the same way. We know women of color experience the intersectional nature of race and gender in compounding ways. We know that trans women experience discrimination and harassment based on their gender identity in addition to any other identities they may hold.
Our grants focus on women/girls most impacted by inequity. As a learning organization, this means we will continue to build on our understanding of race even as we apply a more targeted gender lens to our grantmaking. Targeted Universalism shapes our understanding of how to address the intersectional nature of inequities in our state. In simple terms, Targeted Universalism means setting universal goals that can be achieved through targeted approaches. Our universal goal is equity for all in Washington State, and we believe that goal is best achieved by supporting the women and girls most impacted by inequity

The Washington State Legislature funded the Outdoor Learning Grants program with the goal to develop and support outdoor educational experiences for students in Washington public schools.
All children deserve access to outdoor spaces where they can learn, play, and grow, but access to outdoor educational opportunities is inequitable.
From reducing stress, to improving mental and physical health, outdoor-based learning helps youth thrive. Research shows that students who participate in outdoor educational activities are more likely to graduate, are better behaved in school, and have more relationships with peers, higher academic achievement, more critical thinking skills, and more direct experience of scientific concepts in the field. They also have better leadership and collaboration skills and a deeper engagement with learning, place, and community.
