This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Otis Douglas, who had a lifelong love of reading and learning. Many nights, Otis would fall asleep reading his daughter’s schoolbooks. He was unable to finish his own high school education, and this gave him the deepest appreciation for learning. Our hope for this scholarship is to honor his legacy by fostering a love of learning and reading in students pursuing their college education.

For a college student who has either graduated from a high school located in Early County, Georgia, or who is a current resident of Early County, Georgia. Applicants must have completed at least two years in a post-secondary college or university in the United States and have attained at least a 2.5 GPA in the post-secondary college or university. The award is based on academic achievement, financial need, extracurricular school activities or employment, community service, and leadership qualities.

The NCCIH Multi-Site Feasibility Clinical Trials of Mind and Body Interventions (R01) invites applications for clinical trials focusing on complementary and integrative health approaches. This funding opportunity emphasizes the importance of multisite feasibility trials to gather essential data for planning future efficacy studies. Edward P. Boland Scholarship Fund

Edward P. Boland served as the representative to the United States Congress for 36 years. His public service spanned 54 years of dedication to the people of western Massachusetts. He was the first chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and a longtime member of the Appropriations Committee overseeing departments such as HUD, NASA, Veterans, NSA and many other federal departments. Education was his top priority and upon retirement this scholarship fund was created to assist the students of western Massachusetts

The Limited Competition grant supports High Impact Specialized Innovation Programs to enhance clinical and translational science capabilities at UM1 CTSA Program Hubs. Eligible applicants include primary UM1 CTSA hub organizations, aiming to address significant gaps in research and development. Successful proposals will foster foundational innovations for broader dissemination among CTSA hubs, paving the way for future advancements in clinical practices and research methodologies.

Established to honor the memory of beloved coach and teacher Ron Jones. This is not an athletic award, rather, it was established to recognize students who have demonstrated a devotion to the community of Hoosick Falls through compassion, action, respect and excellence.

The ADEAGies Foundation Grant supports oral health innovations and the development of future leaders in academic dentistry. Funded by the ADEAGies Foundation, the program offers annual grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 for various dental programs and initiatives. The Board of Trustees evaluates proposals each March, aiming to fully fund as many projects as possible while reserving the right to offer partial funding.
