Scholarships for Post-Secondary (Undergraduate) School

Three Oaks Scholarship Fund

For current year graduating seniors or non-traditional students who reside within the boundaries of the Burgettstown School District, Fort Cherry School District, or Avella Area School District and who are pursuing post-secondary education at an accredited trade or technical school. 

The TFEC Aspire to Rise Scholarship Fund, managed by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, offers financial support to non-traditional students aged 22 and older who have faced challenges in their educational journey. The Corporate Giving Program by Cytokinetics focuses on health equity in cardiovascular disease, targeting underserved communities. It seeks to fund initiatives that address disparities in healthcare access, including public health campaigns, community support programs, and innovative solutions. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the U.S. that align with these goals, ensuring that no direct healthcare practice involvement occurs. This initiative aims to foster equitable health outcomes and enhance community well-being.

The York Rotary Foundation, supported by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, offers scholarships to assist York County students in pursuing higher education. These scholarships reward academic excellence and community involvement, with a focus on graduating seniors and adult learners. There are 11 specific scholarships available, each with unique criteria. This initiative aims to enhance educational opportunities and foster community growth.

Angelica G. Muns Nursing Scholarship

The Community Foundation for Ocala Marion County is pleased to administer the Angelica G. Muns Nursing Scholarship.

Mrs. Muns, a United States Airforce Lt. Colonel, was a registered nurse who served during World War II. Her love of her service and her profession led to her desire to establish a nursing scholarship to ensure that those wanting to excel in the field of nursing had the opportunity to attend school to become an RN or BSN.

Mrs. Muns and her husband were provided excellent healthcare in Marion County and her scholarship is established for those students who plan on staying in Marion County and working at a Marion County acute healthcare facility.

Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA through the duration of nursing school.

Saint Paul’s School Commemorative Fund

Provides financial assistance to members of St. Paul’s Parish who will be pursuing certification or a degree at an institution of higher education. 

Distribution Process

• CFMC scholarship recipients will be contacted in June requesting student enrollment verification
• Scholarships can only be distributed once student’s information is received
• Scholarships will be distributed to the college/school/university indicated by student
• The scholarship must be used for tuition and fees required for the enrollment or attendance of the student at a qualifying educational institution; fees, books, supplies, and equipment required for courses of instruction at such an educational institution; and room and board, within the first semester of first year of students enrollment
• That year’s recipient must claim the scholarship within that fiscal year to be distributed (by 12/31/xx)

The Conrad Siegel “Numbers Matter” Community Scholarship Fund, established by Conrad M. Siegel, Inc., supports underserved students in Central PA pursuing degrees in math, finance, and related fields. This initiative aims to enhance diversity in financial professions by alleviating the financial burden of higher education for students from minority backgrounds. The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, dedicated to strengthening local communities, manages this scholarship to empower the next generation of leaders in these disciplines.
