The Creative Connections Grant offers up to $5,000 for artistic projects in Minnesota, encouraging individual artists to promote access to the arts and engage with local communities. Eligible proposals should focus on connecting residents with cultural experiences, integrating artistic engagement with community goals, providing arts learning opportunities, or sharing expressive cultural traditions. This grant aims to enhance the vibrancy of Minnesota’s artistic landscape through diverse and impactful projects.

The Esther Tomljanovich Strategic Initiatives grant from the Medica Foundation supports transformative projects aimed at advancing health equity. With a funding capacity of up to $200,000 over two to three years, the initiative focuses on innovative proposals in healthcare workforce development, women's health, aging services, dental programs, and housing stability. Grantees are expected to demonstrate measurable outcomes and foster collaboration within their communities, emphasizing the importance of addressing unique health needs.

The New American Long-term Care (LTC) Workforce Development Legal Services initiative, led by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, aims to enhance the long-term care workforce by providing immigration legal services to New Americans. Provide Integrated Support Services through the Long Term Homeless Supportive Services Fund

DHS is seeking to Provide Integrated Support Services through the Long Term Homeless Supportive Services Fund.

DHS, through its Homelessness, Housing and Support Services Administration, is seeking to provide integrated support services needed to stabilize individuals, families, and youth living in supportive housing. 

The term of any resulting contract is anticipated to be for two years, from July 1, 2027, until June 30, 2029. STATE may extend the contract up to a total of five (5) years.

Funding Availability

Funding available under this Request for Proposals (RFP) is $13,820,000 for the biennium ($6,910,000 annually), with the exact amount of funding available determined as part of the 2027 Minnesota Legislative Session.

Funding will be allocated through a competitive process with review by a committee representing content and, if applicable, community specialists with regional knowledge. If selected, Responder may only incur eligible expenditures when the contract is fully executed, and the grant has reached its effective date.

Funding under this RFP is to be distributed statewide to the maximum extent possible. There is no cap on the maximum award amount, or the number of awards made by the STATE. However, responders should consider the following when submitting their funding request:

• The amount of funding needed to successfully deliver the programming they propose,
• Their capacity to administer and effectively utilize the funding they are requesting, and
• The need that exists for supportive services funding for people experiencing long-term homelessness in all Minnesota communities.

The grant focuses on providing necessary tools and infrastructure to crisis service providers, particularly those helping the homeless. Agencies with 501(c)3 status located in Minnesota are eligible to apply, ensuring that resources are effectively directed to those in immediate need.

Friends of NRA

Friends of NRA is the National Rifle Association’s premier fundraising program, supporting the future of shooting sports. Since day one, Friends of NRA has been a 100% grassroots effort fueled by a united front to secure the Second Amendment and raise money for the shooting sports.

Committee volunteers are appointed to State Fund Committees to make recommendations for local grant funding in areas such as youth education, women-focused clinics, law enforcement training, hunter safety, range improvement, firearms and marksmanship training and safety. Recognizing the impact American youth has on the future of the shooting sports, State Fund Committees frequently recommend grants for youth programs, allocating the most significant portion of monies to this vital area.

Grant awards fund activities and support programs in the United States to promote firearms and hunting safety, to enhance marksmanship skills of those in the shooting sports, and to educate the public about firearms in their historic, technological and artistic context.

Friends of NRA State Fund Grant Program - Minnesota

The Friends of NRA State Fund Grant Program provides supplies, equipment, and financial support to a variety of qualified groups and programs at the local level; geared towards youth, women, law enforcement, veterans, the disabled, and the general public, including:

• General shooting programs
• Competitive shooting
• Education, training and safety
• Hunting and conservation
• Community outreach
• Historical education

Grant funding must be used to further a charitable purpose as defined by the Internal Revenue Code under section 501(c)(3) and accompanying rules, regulations, and other IRS law and materials.
