Special consideration will be given to applicants from an underrepresented minority population as well as applicants who intend to major in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management or another business-related field of study. 

The Morton B. Duggan, Jr. Memorial Education Recognition Award, provided by the American Respiratory Care Foundation, honors a student enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program. • Be graduating high school seniors

• Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
• Have parents who did not attend college

The Bumble Bee Seafood Company Foundation Scholarship 

The Bumble Bee Seafood Company Foundation Scholarship applicants should:

• Have resided in San Diego County for at least one year
• Be graduating high school seniors, current four-year, community college or trade/vocational school students
• Plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in an accredited four-year undergraduate university, community college or trade/vocational school in the United States in fall

The Darlene Hooley Scholarship for Oregon Veterans supports military veterans who served in the post-9/11 conflict, prioritizing those in the Oregon National Guard and Reservists. The U.S. Hillman Prize for Newspaper Journalism, awarded by the Sidney Hillman Foundation, recognizes outstanding journalism that serves the common good. The Thornton Scholarship, funded by The Oregon Community Foundation, supports economically disadvantaged Black male graduates from Portland-area high schools pursuing higher education across the United States. This initiative aims to empower these students by alleviating financial barriers, thus enabling them to achieve their academic goals and contribute positively to their communities.

The MFA Fellowship, funded by the Dedalus Foundation, provides a $15,000 stipend to final-year students graduating from MFA programs in Painting and Sculpture in the U.S. Annually, four fellowships are awarded based on nominations from department chairpersons, allowing institutions to nominate two candidates each. Nominees must graduate in the following spring semester and submit application materials including work samples and a biographical statement. This initiative supports emerging artists in their professional development.

The DAR Historic Preservation Grants, offered by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, provide $250,000 annually to support projects that preserve historic resources and sites. Qualified applicants can receive up to $1,450 for travel costs related to attending relevant conferences and events, enhancing collaboration and awareness in the rare disease field.

The NLN Nursing Education Scholarship Award offers up to $8,000 annually to support nurse educators pursuing advanced degrees. As the first organization dedicated to this cause, the NLN Foundation for Nursing Education aims to strengthen the nursing workforce in the U.S. and globally. Eligible candidates are NLN members and must be enrolled in accredited master's or doctoral programs, having completed at least one year of study. This initiative is vital for advancing nursing education and improving healthcare outcomes.

The AAP Foundation Fellowship offers financial support for the Institute for Teaching and Learning in the Health Professions, covering full tuition for its Program for Dental School Faculty. This $3,500 fellowship is designed for periodontists pursuing teaching roles, providing essential skills in academic environments. John-Elizabeth Blaho Miller Fund

The John-Elizabeth Blaho Miller Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation was created to provide scholarship assistance for students, with a preference for students who have an awareness and appreciation of Hungarian culture, including its history, customs, and traditions, and who are undertaking a theological education in preparation for a ministry that draws upon Lutheran teachings in its worldview. John C. Miller was born in Budapest October 1910. In 1921 he immigrated to the United States with his parents (John Miller and Elizabeth Blaho Miller) where they resided in Ambridge, PA. For several years John was the manager of five motion picture houses owned by the Chateau Amusement Company. In 1955 he became a program supervisor at Buhl Planetarium where he retired at the age of 67 in 1977. In December 2001 John established this scholarship in memory of his parents.
