George F. and Asha W. McMillan Scholarship

This scholarship is to provide financial support to an individual in order for him or her to receive a degree in Christian education or related studies or to advance his or her Christian vocation.

The Conchologists of America (COA) offers grants up to $2,500 for research on recent or fossil mollusks. This funding is available for projects that explore malacological topics, ensuring that the proposed work is self-contained and capable of addressing specific research questions. While COA encourages applications for amounts less than the maximum, funding is not typically awarded to high school students or for institutional overhead. The William Brewster Snow Award, presented by the AEESP Foundation, honors outstanding environmental engineering graduate students. The Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s and Talbot Counties, who are planning to attend a college, university, or trade school. There is one scholarship that is available to students in Cecil County. 

Talbot Democratic Women's Club Scholarship

Awarded to female minority students, graduating from Talbot County Public Schools.

The Okanogan Masonic Lodge #169, through the Community Foundation of NCW, has been providing scholarships to deserving Okanogan County students since 1998. The Wenatchee Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship supports graduating seniors from Chelan or Douglas County high schools who demonstrate financial need and community service. Ideal candidates are Key Club members or have family ties to Kiwanis, showcasing above-average academic performance with a minimum GPA of 2.5. This scholarship emphasizes service to others, requiring at least 200 hours of community involvement during high school. It aims to empower well-rounded students committed to making a difference in their communities.

BrightFocus Foundation offers Alzheimer's Disease Research Grants to support innovative research aimed at understanding, preventing, and treating Alzheimer's disease. These grants encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, fostering creativity in scientific research. The program includes Standard Awards for early investigators with a maximum funding of $300,000 for three years and Postdoctoral Fellowship Awards for young researchers at $200,000 for two years, promoting the development of independent research careers.

Durham Foundation Fund in Honor of Shirley O'Neall

The Durham Foundation was established in 1944 for the purpose of maintaining Durham Home as a residence for independent women. In 1937, Sarah Durham established a trust to provide a comfortable home environment for women. The Durham Foundation operates as a 501c3 organization and oversees the home located at 215 West Main Street, Crawfordsville. 

The Durham Foundation Fund was created by the Durham Foundation board of directors to honor Shirley O’Neall’s service to the organization for over 50 years. It is their wish to support local women pursuing education to better themselves and their contributions to the community.

Communities Foundation of Oklahoma

The Communities Foundation of Oklahoma stems from the vision of Tom McCasland Jr., and Gene Rainbolt. Two decades ago, these gentlemen formed a shared vision to create a single philanthropic organization to serve the charitable needs to rural communities across the great state of Oklahoma. 2027 Cherokee Nation Nursing Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to Cherokee Nation students pursuing college degrees in nursing no matter the residence of the student. You must currently be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (no prerequisites). Payback period required upon program completion, in the Cherokee Nation Reservation. This application is for members of the Cherokee Nation ONLY.

The FSF Case Study Scholarship invites talented fashion students to tackle real-world challenges in the industry. Open to full-time students at U.S. four-year colleges, this annual scholarship provides funding for educational expenses, mentorship opportunities, and access to internships. Recipients also enjoy invitations to the prestigious FSF Awards Gala in New York City. The Greater Evansville USBCA Scholarship, established by the Greater Evansville USBCA, supports students from Posey, Vanderburgh, and Warrick counties who engage in community service and bowling activities. William Elliott Frye Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is to assist a student seeking a higher education at an accredited community college or technical school. Students must be a resident of Western North Carolina that include, but not limited to, graduating seniors, current college students, and returning adult education students who are focused on a career and technical education field. Students may be either full-time or seeking a certification to advance their education. Students must demonstrate financial need and meet all requirements of the attending education institution.

The Classics for Kids Matching Grant Program, established by the Classics for Kids Foundation, aims to enhance music education for at-risk and rural youth by providing matching grants for fine stringed instruments. Since 1998, over $2 million has been allocated to support more than 300 programs across all 50 states. The Walters Services, Inc. Fabe & Beverly Walters Scholarship Fund, established by The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, aims to alleviate the financial burden of higher education for children and spouses of employees under 26. The Jim and Fran Foss Scholarship, administered by the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, supports graduating seniors from Sioux Falls public high schools. This scholarship encourages students who plan to attend accredited four-year colleges or universities, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and demonstrate financial need. The SDA Award of Excellence recognizes innovative achievements in textile and fiber arts, promoting the mission of the Surface Design Association (SDA).
