Constitution Day Grants

Mini grants to institutions supporting existing or developing Constitution Day programming. 

The RESOLVE NOLA Community Impact Grant, launched by United Way of Southeast Louisiana, aims to address the critical shortage of mental health resources for youth in New Orleans. The Frost Foundation, established in 1959, aims to support educational, charitable, and religious initiatives. It prioritizes grant-making for organizations that foster creativity and self-reliance, particularly in New Mexico and Louisiana. The Foundation encourages innovative programs and collaborations that address urgent community needs. Eligible applicants must possess a 501(c)(3) status, ensuring they can effectively utilize funds to create positive change beyond traditional boundaries, while promoting alliances to maximize impact.

The Boo Grigsby Foundation, established in 2007, supports 501(c)(3) organizations in Baton Rouge and across Louisiana, focusing on education, health services, arts, human services, community initiatives, and conservation. With over $2,500,000 donated, the foundation aims to enhance community welfare through diverse programs and initiatives, ensuring all residents have access to vital resources and opportunities for growth.

The AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation Grant aims to prevent and mitigate adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) to promote healthier outcomes for children. With a focus on empowering families, healing behaviors, and access to healthcare, the foundation supports nonprofit organizations that provide comprehensive care and resources. Grants range from $100,000 to $250,000, totaling up to $1.945 million for project-specific initiatives. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits operating in states where AmeriHealth Caritas Medicaid markets exist.

The Globe Life Texas Rangers Baseball and Softball Grant Program supports nonprofit baseball and softball initiatives across five states, including Texas and Arkansas. This program aims to enhance youth sports by providing funding for essential needs such as field renovations, equipment, and uniforms. Since 2012, it has awarded over $1.1 million to more than 150 organizations, ensuring children have access to the joy and community of sports. Grants are available to 501(c)(3) organizations serving youth aged 18 and under.

The Apache Corporation Tree Grant Program is dedicated to large-scale conservation efforts by providing trees to nonprofit organizations and government agencies in the U.S. Since 2005, it has donated over 5 million trees, enhancing public greenspaces and supporting wildlife habitats. The GPOA Foundation Grant supports programs for children in Orleans Parish, Louisiana, with a focus on kindergarten readiness, reading proficiency by third grade, and equipping at-risk youth for independence. The foundation accepts concept papers biannually and encourages collaborative requests. Applications must meet specific eligibility criteria, including tax-exempt status and good standing with IRS requirements.

The Community Foundation of North Louisiana offers Competitive Grants to support local organizations with annual revenues over $250,000. These grants aim to enhance community quality of life through various program areas, including health, education, and economic development. Eligible applicants must hold 501(c)(3) status, serve Caddo and/or Bossier Parishes, and meet specific financial requirements. With no set funding limits, these grants empower nonprofits to address pressing community needs effectively.

The Community Foundation of North Louisiana offers Competitive Grants for small organizations with annual revenues under $250,000, providing funding up to $10,000. Eligible programs must focus on areas such as arts, education, and health, and serve Caddo and/or Bossier Parishes. Organizations must hold 501(c)(3) status and be in good standing with IRS requirements. This initiative supports community-driven projects that enhance the quality of life in North Louisiana.

The Bayer Fund Health & Wellness Grant Program aims to support organizations that provide education and resources for patients and caregivers facing cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Grants focus on assisting communities, particularly the African American population, in managing these health issues. Funding covers educational services, disease awareness, and access to care, with all activities to commence post-funding decisions. Eligible organizations must hold a 501(c)(3) status and operate within 55 miles of Bayer sites.

The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation's Collective Impact Grants aim to improve health outcomes by addressing critical shortages in the healthcare workforce across Louisiana. South Arts, Inc. is offering Accessibility Grants of up to $2,500 to nonprofit organizations in the Southeast to enhance accessibility in arts programs for individuals with disabilities.
