The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts administers over 160 scholarships. Some of the funds help students from a particular school or area; others provide financial assistance to those pursuing a specific field of study; still others assist students that are most in need. Students who apply to the Scholarship program may be eligible for many of these funds.
Kenneth C. Robinson/Springfield Accountants Scholarship Fund
MA and Hartford County, CT residents who have completed their college sophomore year pursuing accounting or finance
David M. Cordani Courage in Service Grant Program
The Cigna Group Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Cigna Group (NYSE: CI), today announced the launch of the David M. Cordani Courage in Service Grant, a new $1.5 million, 10-year commitment to support the health and well-being of military and veteran communities by prioritizing social connection.
Each year, $150,000 will be awarded to one nonprofit serving military and veteran communities to support programs that strengthen connections, improve well-being, and increase stability for individuals and families navigating key life transitions.

To support individuals from Hampden County Massachusetts pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree; preference for those involved in athletics or other extracurricular activities

Anthony A. Renaud Memorial Scholarship Fund
To support graduating high school seniors from Hampden County or students enrolled at Mount Carmel School in Springfield who have a parent who is deceased; preference for those who have had a parent die from heart disease.
OREF/Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation Research Grant
Solicits investigator-initiated proposals focusing on research in the science of biologic – reconstruction, bone regeneration, transplantation - allografts, and including stem cells for graft transplantation.
Patrick J. Kiley / Houston AGC Scholarship
Benefiting employees, dependents of employees, and/or interns of AGC Houston member firms OR students involved in AGC Student Chapters.

The AWS Outstanding Achievement Awards honor exceptional contributions in welding, spanning historical structures, innovative fabrication, safety, and technical advancements across various categories.
Kenneth L. Brown Memorial Safety and Health Award
This award, sponsored by AWS and selected by the Safety and Health Committee, is presented annually to an individual who best encourages the advancement of welding safety and health through conducting research, education activities, development of safe practices, or the dissemination of knowledge through publications or other means; thereby, fostering public awareness, welfare and education.
The nominee is selected at least 10 months in advance of FABTECH.

Crider/Bommersbach Scholarship Fund
This fund is being established to recognize all educational personnel who are committed to the success of all students, especially those who have struggled in traditional educational settings. This also celebrates those students who have continued to work through adversity to complete their high school education with clear plans for post-secondary goals. It also recognizes the vision and commitment of the Battle Creek Area Educator's Task Force who identified the need and established the Battle Creek Area Learning Center, operating as Calhoun Community High School, and the dedicated work of the educational professionals who have worked to make this vision a reality. Although it is labeled the Crider/Bommersbach Scholarship in honor of Charles Crider and Tom Bommersbach, the first Director and Counselor, it is truly a recognition of all of the staff and students and those in the community who celebrate the small and large successes of every student.
Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi
The Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi manages 314 donor-established funds and has disbursed over $48 million to support more than 1,000 charitable organizations and activities recommended by its donors, as well as charitable programs established by the foundation. Established in 2002 with a generous grant from the Maddox Foundation, the Community Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 charitable organization. The Foundation serves Bolivar, Coahoma, DeSoto, Leflore, Marshall, Panola, Quitman, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tunica and Yalobusha counties.
Shapoor Alexander Ghane Memorial Endowment
Shapoor Alexander Ghane was a Navy SEAL and to honor his memory this scholarship fund was established to benefit the children of Navy SEAL members who died in action.
