North Dakota Department of Transportation
We are on a mission to safely move people and goods. Our vision is to be North Dakota’s transportation leader, promoting safe ways, superior service, and economic growth.
Originally called the State Highway Department, the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) was established in 1917. The NDDOT is an innovative and progressive organization that has a great team of employees that work hard across the state to carry out the department's mission to safely move people and goods. The NDDOT builds and maintains an efficient transportation system consisting of over 8,500 miles of roadway and nearly 4,900 bridges. It oversees the development of surface transportation including highways, bridges, rail, transit, pedestrian and bicycle paths across the state.
Special Road Fund (SRF)
SRF projects are limited to roads that provide access to and/or are within recreational, tourist, and historical areas. The intent of this program is to help finance highway projects identified by political subdivisions, tribal governments and state agencies which typically have some funding but need additional help. The maximum NDDOT contribution will be limited to 80 percent, with the financial participation amount limited to $500,000.
A better world, built with better teamwork
We bring Atlassian's funding, tools and teamwork expertise to help nonprofits drive greater impact.
Our mission
Atlassian's mission is to unleash the potential of every team. The Atlassian Foundation extends that mission to teams solving the world's hardest problems.
Atlassian Foundation – Open Call for Proposals
The Atlassian Foundation is deploying US$8 million over the next two years to help disadvantaged learners thrive in the AI era. If you're driving collective action in this space, we want to hear from you.
Reshaping education for the AI era will take teamwork
The Atlassian Foundation focuses on education because it's the most empowering force in the world – it's the key to breaking cycles of poverty and disadvantage.
But that key is slipping out of reach for far too many. UNESCO estimates that more than 250 million children are out of school. And for those in the classroom, learning isn't guaranteed: 57% of children worldwide (nearly one billion) lack the basic skills they need for the era they're growing up in. AI can expand access and accelerate learning. It can also widen inequality where it lands unevenly.
No single organisation can tackle a challenge this complex. That's why the Atlassian Foundation is backing collective action: coordinated efforts by multiple players to solve shared problems at scale. Atlassian's mission is to unleash the potential of every team, so we're uniquely positioned to power these efforts. We've spent 20+ years learning what makes teams work well together, and we're offering that expertise – plus our funding, tools and hands-on support – to help collective action initiatives drive greater impact.
We believe a better world is built with better teamwork, and collective action is teamwork at its most ambitious. Together, we want to shape a future where emerging technology closes gaps for learners the current system leaves behind, rather than widening them.
About this open call
In this open call, we're seeking partnerships with collective action initiatives that are working to improve education for disadvantaged learners in the AI era.

WRF was formed in 2018 through the integration of three highly respected research collaboratives: WateReuse Research Foundation, Water Environment Research Foundation, and Water Research Foundation. Separately, these organizations focused on research to support varied segments of the water sector—water reuse, wastewater and stormwater, and drinking water, respectively. Now a One Water organization, WRF delivers the research programming the sector needs to address the most pressing water issues holistically.

North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services
North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services' vision is focused on North Dakota becoming the healthiest state in the nation. HHS Mission Statement: HHS fosters positive, comprehensive outcomes by promoting economic, behavioral, and physical health, ensuring a holistic approach to individual and community well-being. Our mission underscores the incredible work that is already underway across HHS today. It reflects our commitment to keep the well-being of individuals and communities at the forefront of our efforts.
Ensuring Safety Net Service Delivery Grant
The Ensuring Safety Net Service Delivery funding opportunity aims to fill gaps in the health and behavioral health service delivery systems. This will improve North Dakota’s health care safety net, the system of providers and programs ensuring health care access for vulnerable populations, including those living in rural areas and needing specialized care. This is identified in Initiative 3: Bring High-Quality Health Care Closer to Home of North Dakota’s RHTP. Proposed projects eligible for this funding opportunity are:
KBF Ski Racing Safety
The KBF helps alpine ski clubs around the country purchase safety equipment like netting and padding, and also contributes to venue improvement initiatives. Funding requests are reviewed through an annual grant cycle with an application process. Over the past decade, the Kelly Brush Foundation has purchased thousands of rolls of b-netting, supported trail widening projects, and helped with the purchase of other safety equipment.
KBF Ski Racing Safety Equipment Grants are all matching grants–meaning that any grant awarded by the Kelly Brush Foundation will need to be matched by the ski club. We expect that clubs will join us in making safety a priority by fundraising or finding room in their budget for safety.
